Fairview Park Democratic Club Endorses Todd

Members of the Fairview Park Democratic Club Executive Committee met on Thursday, January 5, and considered endorsement requests from two candidates vying for the House District 16 seat. The County Executive Committee had voted to grant “no endorsement” in this race at the last general meeting. The Fairview Park Executive meeting’s discussion was lengthy regarding the positions and attributes of both Todd LeVeck and Andy Meyer, and it was noted that we were truly fortunate to have two quality candidates. The vote was unanimous in favor of Todd LeVeck. Todd is a public school teacher, who served in the U.S. Navy and now is active in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He is a husband and father of three young children. Todd’s wife, Naomi, is also a Cleveland public school teacher. A resident of Westlake, Todd was born and raised in Cleveland, the proud son of an iron worker and grandson of a Cleveland firefighter. Tod has served as a building delegate, a chapter chairperson, and on the Cleveland Teachers Union Executive Board, and as Chairperson of the Legislative Committee. He has been a passionate opponent of S.B. 5 and Issue 2, unlike our current Republican Representative, who strongly supported both losing measures. Please contact City Leader, Danielle Sundberg, with any questions regarding this endorsement, at 440.331.3311, or email at dmcs4416@yahoo.com.
